Registration Policy
A delegate is deemed to have registered as soon as their registration is confirmed. At this point the cancellation policy below is valid even if the delegate has not yet paid.
Any registrations received after 2 August 2024 will be charged in full and only payment by credit card will be accepted.
Registration discounts will only be valid until 2 August 2024.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation must be made in writing to Little Big Events Co. (LBEC) - conference@lbevents.co
A refund, less administration fee of $65 eill be made on registration cancellations received up to 19 July 2024.
A refund of 50% of registration fees will be made on registration cancellations received between 20 July and 2 August 2024.
No refund will be made on any registration cancellation received after 2 August 2024.
Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise LBEC of any name changes by 2 August 2024.
Functions Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be made on function cancellations received up to 2 August 2024.
No refund will be made on any function cancellation received after 2 August 2024.
Any function bookings made after 2 August 2024 will need to be paid in full.
Force Majeure
In the event that the conference is cancelled by the Organisers or LBEC or by any reason or any factor outside the control of the Organisers or LBEC, the conference cannot take place; 50% of the amount of the Registration Fee shall be refunded.
In the event that the conference is postponed by the Organisers or LBEC or by any reason or any factor outside the control of the Organisers or LBEC, the conference cannot take place; 50% of the amount of the Registration Fee shall be refunded if the delegate cannot attend the new conference dates.
The liability of the Organisers and LBEC shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, the Organisers or LBEC shall not be liable to refund any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates or their organisations. It follows that delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.
Disclaimer
The Organisers or LBEC cannot accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers), if such loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of the organisers.
The Organisers and LBEC cannot accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the Organisers or LBEC accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, pandemics, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the Conference, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Conference, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Conference.
