Registration Cancellation Policy
Any cancellation must be made in writing to The Queenstown Event Collective (QTEC) - qrw@qteventcollective.com
A refund of 50% of registration fees will be made on registration cancellations received up to 5 August 2022.
No refund will be made on any registration cancellation received after 5 August 2022.
Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise QTEC of any name changes by 5 August 2022.
For transferred registrations, if there is an excess of funds from the 2021 registration because of differences in registration type, then this difference cannot be refunded. However, the remaining amount can be used towards another meeting within the main meeting block or social function tickets if required.
Functions Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be made on function cancellations received up to 5 August 2022.
No refund will be made on any function cancellation received after 5 August 2022.
For transferred functions, if there is an excess of funds from the 2021 registration because of differences in functions selected, then this difference cannot be refunded. However, the remaining amount can be used towards another meeting within the main meeting block or alternative social function tickets if required.
Force Majeure
In the event that the conference is cancelled by the Organisers or QTEC or by any reason or any factor outside the control of the Organisers or QTEC, the conference cannot take place; 50% of the amount of the Registration Fee shall be refunded.
In the event that the conference is postponed by the Organisers or QTEC or by any reason or any factor outside the control of the Organisers or QTEC, the conference cannot take place; 50% of the amount of the Registration Fee shall be refunded if the delegate cannot attend the new conference dates.
The liability of the Organisers and QTEC shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, the Organisers or QTEC shall not be liable to refund any travel or accommodation costs incurred by delegates or their organisations. It follows that delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.
Disclaimer
The Organisers or QTEC cannot accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers), if such loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of the organisers.
The Organisers and QTEC cannot accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the Organisers or QTEC accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/or partners in connection with the Conference, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Conference, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Conference.
